As president and managing shareholder, Tony oversees both the investment advisory and the client services teams – ensuring every individual client experiences the accessibility and expertise they’ve come to expect from ARS. Tony has more than 21 years of experience managing sizeable accounts for corporations and individuals. Prior to joining ARS in 2004, he served as Senior Portfolio Manager at SouthTrust Asset Management, where he was responsible for the management of more than $300 million.

Tony holds a FINRA Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor Representative license. He earned his Masters of Business Administration degree from Crummer Graduate School at Rollins College, and a B.S. in Business Administration from Samford University.

Tony has been married for sixteen years to Amanda, and they have two children. He spends his weekends outdoors, boating, fishing and helping out with his kids’ activities. He is also active in his church, serving as an elder and prayer counselor.

With more than 30 years in the investment business, Kurt Ulrich has experience in a wide range of investment climates. He earned his CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation in 1995, and is a long-standing member of the CFA Institute and CFA Tampa Bay (formerly Financial Analysts Society of Tampa Bay), where he spent several years as a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining ARS, Kurt spent a decade as a Portfolio Manager and member of the Investment Committee for Pritchard, Hubble & Herr Investment Management, where he helped to manage over $500 million in assets.

Kurt earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University. He and his wife Terri have been married since 1984 and have four children. They enjoy the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, and participating with the kids’ sports teams. Kurt is also active in his church and Bible studies.

Drew has more than 25 years of experience in financial markets. Prior to joining ARS in 2008, he spent five years at Matador Capital, a hedge fund with 13 consecutive years of positive returns for its partners and over $800 million under management. Before joining Matador, he managed several investment portfolios for Bankers Insurance Group, a St. Petersburg-based property and casualty insurance holding company.

Drew has degrees in Business Administration and Economics from Southern Methodist University, and he holds a FINRA Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor Representative license.

Drew and his wife Elizabeth have been married for more than 20 years and have four children. They spend their free time outdoors, and particularly enjoy vacations in the mountains. Drew serves on the Board of Directors of his church, and is a trustee on the Board of the St. Petersburg Fire Fighters Pension Plan.

Mike has over 17 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining ARS, he was the Chief Investment Officer at Doyle Wealth Management, overseeing more than $550 million in assets. Before joining Doyle Wealth Management, he worked for several large investment firms and a long short equity hedge fund.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina and his Master of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University. He received the Charter Financial Analyst designation in 2006 and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Financial Analyst Society of Tampa Bay.

Mike and his wife Katie have been married for over 10 years and have three children. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, golfing, and helping out with the kids’ activities. Mike and Katie are active members of their church, serving as Sunday school teachers.

Jennifer earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Florida. She previously held her Series 7, 63, 66, and 2-15 security licenses. As a Certified Financial Planning® professional, Jennifer has extensive training in financial planning, estate planning, insurance, investments, taxes, employee benefits and retirement planning, as well as CFP Board’s Standards of Professional Conduct, which are rigorously enforced.

Prior to joining ARS, Jennifer worked for Fidelity Investments and JPMorgan Chase in client advisory roles. Most recently, Jennifer worked in the Tampa Fidelity branch office, as an Account Executive, where she managed $350m in client assets spanning over 400 client households. As the main point of contact for these clients, Jennifer provided full financial planning for income strategy, investments and preparing for a successful retirement. Jennifer’s approach is to get to know the client first and plan for the future second; keeping in mind that the planning for financial success begins with a successful relationship with the client.

In her free time, Jennifer and her husband Brandon enjoy spending time with their family and friends, working on their golf game and enjoying the great Florida weather. They are the proud parents of one son.

Rich has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining the ARS team, he was the Executive Vice President at Doyle Wealth Management, overseeing more than $250 million in assets. As a key point of contact for these clients, Rich provided full financial planning for income strategies, wealth management and retirement services. Before joining Doyle Wealth Management, Rich worked in client advisory and management roles at Raymond James and Fidelity Investments.

Rich earned his Bachelor of Business degree from the University of South Florida.

Rich and his wife Mary have been married since 2012. Outside of work they enjoy spending time with their families and traveling.

As Operations Manager and Compliance Officer, Lois oversees the activities of the operations team and provides support in the review, updating and maintenance of the Firm’s compliance policies and procedures.

Lois has been in the financial services industry since 2001. Prior to joining ARS, She worked as a Registered Representative and Licensed Insurance Agent for Aegon Financial Group in Client Relationship Management. She also spent more than a decade in the employment placement services industry. Lois attended Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, and Brookhaven College in Dallas, Texas.

Lois and her husband Rod have been married for over 20 years and have two daughters. She spends a great deal of her spare time volunteering for the Seminole High School Drama Department and was presented with the Outstanding Volunteer Award by Pinellas County Schools. She also supports Pace Center for Girls, CASA and Daystar Life Center.

A Southern California native, Felicia’s sunny disposition is a perfect fit for both the view out of our windows and the goals of our client service team. Her boundless energy, attention to detail and genuine affection for all of our clients ensures that everyone experiences ARS’s “white glove” service.

Felicia assisted both ARS and our affiliated tax and accounting teams for years before we convinced her to join our team full time. In addition to her experience in financial services, Felicia also spent time as a teacher in the Pinellas County school system and as a successful club volleyball coach. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California.

Felicia has a passion for staying active, and she is the four-time tennis club champion at St. Petersburg Country Club. She and her husband Bob have been married for more than two decades, and they have three children.

Tammy joined the ARS team in 2013 as an Operations Specialist. She has more than two decades experience in the banking industry, working as a Training Specialist, Customer Service Manager and Back Office Supervisor prior to joining ARS.

While in college in Schenectady County, New York, Tammy had the opportunity to work for the New York State Assembly and won a “Best in Class” award. We completely agree. Tammy is dependable, resourceful and a valued part of our client service team.

Tammy was born and raised in upstate New York, but now is happy to call Tampa Bay her home… particularly because we’re so close to Daytona, where she and her family take in the Daytona 500 every year. Tammy has been married to her husband Jody for ten years and has one daughter. Outside of work, she likes to enjoy her family and watch sports together – especially football and NASCAR.

Bob is a founding shareholder of ARS Wealth Advisors. Bob has been practicing public accounting since 1979 when he received his Bachelors degree in accounting from Auburn University. Prior to joining Spoor & Associates in 1987, Bob was with the firm McKelvey, Ulrich, and Wilson in St. Petersburg. Bob practices in the area of individual, fiduciary and estate taxation. Bob is the president of Seminole High School booster club and a member of the Seminole Chamber of Commerce.

Gordon is a founding shareholder in the investment advisory firm ARS Wealth Advisors, and the managing shareholder of the CPA firm Spoor & Associates, P.A. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Florida and holds the designation of CPA (Regulated by the State of Florida) and PFS (Personal Financial Specialist). He has been practicing public accounting in St. Petersburg, Florida since 1974 and holds a FINRA Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor Representative license. Gordon is a frequent guest lecturer in the areas of estate planning, fiduciary accounting and income tax. He has published numerous articles covering these topics and many others. Much of his time is spent consulting in the area of fiduciary accounting and income tax, as well as litigation support in estate, trust and malpractice litigation matters.

As a support advisor, Chris will provide support to the lead advisors in the delivery of advice to clients and prospects. He comes to us after working for Raymond James Financial the past two years. Chris is a Florida native. He earned his Master of Business Administration and B.S. in Mathematics from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida. While attending the University of West Florida, he was president of the Student Government Association, president of his fraternity, and a member of the Student Ambassadors. When he is not in the office, Chris enjoys playing and watching sports, boating, attending events, and spending quality time with friends and family.
